Zig Zag Rd. Wines
Zig Zag Rd. is a boutique cool climate vineyard, winery and cellar door situated just outside the village of Malmsbury in the Macedon Ranges on Dja Dja Wurrung Country.
Our wines are an expression of beautiful old vines and low intervention wine. Our wild-fermented Kind Folk and classic Zig Zag Rd. range are available at the cellar door, which is next to the winery where we make all the magic happen. Come and enjoy a tasting overlooking our 1972 vines and the beautiful forest beyond.
Crafted with care and by hand, we produce Riesling, Pet Nat, Fumé Blanc and a cloudy Rose, along with a range of wild-fermented reds including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, the very popular Sparkling Shiraz & cool climate favourite, Pinot Noir from our heritage 1972 vines. We farm regeneratively, without any conventional chemicals, with a focus on improving the soil health and quality of our wines.
We’re a short drive from Daylesford & Kyneton, & just over an hour outside of Melbourne.
If you fancy bringing a picnic, you're welcome to enjoy it on our deck overlooking the sweeping vineyard whilst sipping a glass of our estate-made wine.
We’re open Thursday-Mon, 10-5 with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday & New Year’s Day.
