Planning Delegated Committee

The Planning Delegated Committee was established by Council on 23 June 2021 as a delegated committee under section 63 of the Local Government Act 2020 to hear from applicants/land owners and objectors/submitters on statutory and strategic planning matters including planning applications and to determine planning matters.

The committee comprises all nine Councillors.

Any land owner, applicant, proponent, or objector to a planning matter and/or a person who supports a planning matter where a written submission has been made can speak to the Committee on their submission. The written submission must be addressed to Council and registered by Council prior to the matter being presented at a Planning Delegated Committee Meeting.

These meetings are held online as needed.
