Gisborne, Fersfield Road - Road Reconstruction

A section of Fersfield Road will be upgraded from Morrison Road to Sheedy Road in Gisborne.  

The project includes:

  • about 600m of full road reconstruction, from 70m east of Morrison Road to Sheedy Road in Gisborne
  • concrete kerb and channel, and underground drainage
  • completion of missing shared path link in the identified section
  • improved roadside signage as required.

These works are funded under the Australian Government’s Infrastructure Investment Program.

The project is currently in design and construction dates will be published once the works are awarded.

Minor delays are expected during the works. Please allow extra time if travelling in the area.
