The Fire Danger Period for Macedon Ranges Shire is now in force. During this time, no fire may be lit in the open air without a permit.

In addition to our extensive program of planned road works, our crews often identify small sections of roads during their routine road inspections and maintenance checks that require upgrades.
Our officers are currently planning works for two short sections on Baynton Road, Pastoria where repairs are required.
These sections will be upgraded to maintain road conditions in line with Council’s Road Management Plan and funded by Council’s 2024-25 Capital Works Program.
It is anticipated these works will be completed by end of February 2025.
