View planning applications online
Click below to view application details on our online register:
Statutory Planning Online Application Register
The register has two sections:
- The online register holds summary details only for all current and complete planning applications (from 1995 onward). You can use this to check the status of an application.
- The online advertising register holds summary details plus copies of application documents such as plans. Applications are only available in this section during the advertising period.
If an application is not advertised, or the advertising period has finished, the application documents and plans will not be available online. Instead, they can be viewed in person at the Gisborne Administration Centre between 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday.
Copies of permits
If the online register shows that a permit has been issued for an application, the property owner, or a person with the owner's signed consent, can request a copy of the permit and any associated plans. Visit Planning forms and fees to find out how to submit a request for copies of planning permits and plans.
Object to an application
Any person who may be affected by the grant of a planning permit may lodge an objection to a current planning application.
