Agricultural waste

Council offers a number of options to dispose of agricultural waste safely and sustainably.

bagMUSTER

bagMUSTER will be available at our resource recovery facilities from Monday 20 January 2025. Find a nearby resource recovery facility and opening hours.

bagMUSTER collects eligible agricultural plastic bag waste for recycling free of charge, ensuring it is transformed into new products rather than being sent to landfill.

What's accepted?

bagMUSTER only accepts eligible bags purchased from participating retailers after 1 October 2024. A list of retailers will soon be available on the bagMUSTER website

Please ensure your bags meet the program's eligibility requirements and register before dropping them off.

If you have a stockpile of bags purchased prior to 1 October 2024, call Agsafe on (02) 6206 6888.

How do I register?

Registration will be essential and will be soon available via the bagMUSTER website.
