Fire Danger Ratings

Fire Danger Ratings show how dangerous a fire could be and help you decide what to do to stay safe.

There are four levels:

Moderate: Plan and prepare
High: Be ready to act
Extreme: Take action now to protect your life and property
Catastrophic: For your survival, leave bushfire risk areas

The ratings are forecast by the Bureau of Meteorology up to four days in advance. To find out more, go to Total Fire Bans and Fire Danger Ratings - CFA website
