What can be sold?

The Kyneton Saleyards runs sales on the first and third week of the month for the following livestock:

  • Cattle: sold at the Thursday prime sale and monthly store sale
  • Sheep: sold at the Thursday sheep sale
  • Goats: sold at the Thursday sheep sale.

Occasionally, impounded horses are also sold. Information on these sales can be found in local papers.

We don’t run sales for:

  • Pigs
  • Alpacas /llamas
  • Poultry.
