New footpaths

The Shire-wide Footpath Plan identifies new path locations and improvements to existing paths in our townships.

Council decides where to build new footpaths based on a footpath plan, which was created with input from the community. This plan helps the Council follow its overall priorities outlined in the Council Plan, and supports our annual funding committment to improve walking and cycling paths.

If a new footpath is needed in your area, email us at mrsc@mrsc.vic.gov.au or write to us at PO Box 151, Kyneton, VIC 3444 and we will investigate and assess your request for suitability and inclusion in the plan.
