Youth Climate Group
In partnership with VicHealth, Council is launching a Youth Climate Group in 2025 and we’re inviting interested young people to complete an expression of interest survey.
Group members will meet throughout the school term to develop a project plan for their climate action initiative in 2025. There will also be opportunities to collaborate with CERES facilitators throughout the process.
Why?
The Youth Climate Group will create a safe, inclusive space for young people to take practical and youth-led action against climate change in the Macedon Ranges. Young people in Victoria continue to show leadership, skills, knowledge and the desire to engage in grassroots climate action and Council wants to help.
Who can join?
Any young person aged 12 – 25 who lives, works, or attends school in the shire.
