Down the Rabbit Hole

Rabbit

Rabbits causing chaos on your property? You are not alone.

A pair of rabbits can produce up to 184 rabbits in one year—and that adds up quickly. Feral rabbits are a serious pest in our region, causing damage to gardens, properties, and natural areas, and helping invasive weeds spread.

Join Council Officers, Simon Purves and Joshua Gomez for Down the Rabbit Hole, a practical workshop on how to control rabbits effectively using integrated pest management techniques.

What you'll learn:

  • How to tackle rabbit infestations on your property
  • A range of control methods
  • Why working together is essential for success

The workshop will be held at Magnet Hill, New Gisborne. The entrance is located via an unnamed road off Magnet Lane, New Gisborne.

Be aware this is an outside event, so make sure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

There are no toilet facilities available at this location.
