Join us on a property using a rotational grazing system with their small stud of Highland cattle. The owners have started their journey in understanding their carbon position by doing the initial baseline steps themselves.

Come and learn which techniques have worked for them as they transition themselves and their property to a regen ag system. The focus of the evening is the grazing and how the strategies being used are promoting biodiversity, weed reduction, soil health and dam water health. The session will include a paddock walk and discussion.

The location of the field day is in Newbury. Once registered, the property address will be sent to you prior to the event.

Everyone is welcome to come along and learn from each other and discuss how your property is progressing through the season. Topics covered at past events have varied from fencing techniques and equipment, tree planting, water infrastructure, animal and breeding choices, weed management and the list continues.

Be aware this is an outside event, so make sure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and a minor level of fitness and mobility is required.
