Riddells Creek Enviro-Energy Expo 2025

Building on the success of the 2024 event, the Riddells Creek Cool Changes Enviro-Energy Expo is set to return on Saturday 15 March 2025, bringing together experts, innovators, and community members to explore sustainable living solutions that benefit both the environment and household budgets.

With a focus on practical, affordable solutions to help homes, the planet and our pockets, the 2025 Expo will showcase accessible, cost-effective ways for residents to reduce their environmental impact while saving money. Attendees can expect:

• Keynote speakers Professor Emeritus David Karoly (University of Melbourne and Climate Council Councillor) and Annabel Sides (Green Planet Sport). Retired from the CSIRO, David is an internationally recognised expert and will speak about climate change science, impacts and solutions for our community. Annabel and her guest athletes will share their work building partnerships in the sport industry that have climate positive outcomes for the health of people and the planet.
• Expert panels discussing topics such as energy-efficient home upgrades, local renewable energy initiatives, climate action in the garden, advocacy, Climate Cafes run for young people in 2024 at Melbourne Museum and a Youth Discussion Panel involving local schools.
• Interactive displays demonstrating the latest in affordable green technology, household energy assessments, resource recovery services and actions, co-benefits of climate change mitigation on health and what's going on in your local waterways and green spaces.
• Roving “Ask me about…” experts will be awaiting your questions on home energy efficiency audits, sport and positive climate outcomes, transitioning to renewables, engaging with local community, youth and sports clubs, and more.
