Romsey, Main Road East Side - Bridge Works

The Main Road east side footbridge is located over Five Mile Creek, near 123-125 Main Street in Romsey.

The project includes:

• replacement of existing footbridge decking to slip resistant material, e.g. Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP).
• upgrade of footbridge balustrade to suit the waterway.

These works were funded under Council’s Capital Works Program FY 2024/25.

The project is currently at the procurement stage, and the project dates will be published once the project is awarded.
