Various - Intersection upgrade program 23-24
This recurring renewal program for the 2023-24 financial year targets upgrades to strategically identified Council-managed intersections across the shire.
The works - which involve renewing and upgrading the road surface to improve safety and amenity - are expected to start in mid-January 2024 and be completed by early February 2024.
The following locations have been identified for upgrades:
- Clarke Crescent, Kyneton (court bowl)
- Intersection of Simpsons Lane/Quarry Road, Woodend
- Intersection of Romsey Road/Quirks Lane, Chintin
- Intersection of Orr Street/Bennett Street, Malmsbury
- Intersection of Orr Street/Drake Street, Malmsbury
- Intersection of Anderson Road/Rochford Road, Newham
- Intersection of Hamilton Street/Brantom Street, Gisborne (night works)
- Intersection of Prince Street/Hamilton Street, Gisborne (night works)
- Intersection of Goode Street/Hamilton Street, Gisborne (night works)
Minor delays are expected on these roads during these works, with traffic management and detours in place where necessary.
