Romsey, Main Street - Proposed footpath and new bus shelter works
As a part of Local Road and Community Infrastructure Projects (LRCIP) and 2023/24 Council’s Capital Works Program, a bus stop has being constructed on the Main Street road shoulder, replacing the existing one in the service lane due to safety concerns raised by community and Department of Transport and Planning (DTP).
The project included a designated bus stop, shelter and a new footpath.
The project commenced on 20 May 2024 and were completed by 24June 2024.
