Romsey, Murphy Street - Road Reconstruction
Upgrades on Murphy Street, Romsey are now completed from the Main Street intersection to the Pohlman Street intersection, Romsey.
The project included the following:
- approximately 115 metres of road pavement reconstruction
- construction of a 1.5 metre wide concrete footpath connection and pram crossing along north side of Murphy Street
- new kerb, channel and drainage improvements.
These works were funded by Federal Government and were carried out under the 2023/24 Capital Works Program.
The works commenced in March 2024 and were completed by mid-June 2024.
We would like to thank residents, businesses and road users for their patience as works were being completed.
