National Tree Day - Planting at Hanging Rock

To celebrate National Tree Day (28 July), we welcome you to our community planting day to improve the biodiversity along Smokers Creek, Hanging Rock. Council’s Conservation and Reserves Officer will discuss the importance of local habitat and how restoration works in the Macedon Ranges can enhance biodiversity for local species.

Not suitable for children under 10. Adult supervision is required for children over 10.

Due to weather conditions, please ensure you bring along sturdy shoes, warm clothing, water and gardening gloves.
