Next date: Friday, 06 September 2024 | 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM

Join us for a guided walk through the grassland and woodland area of Macedon Cemetery to celebrate National Threatened Species Day.

Learn about the vital role our threatened grasslands play in preserving biodiversity and protecting endangered species. We'll visit areas of grass that have previously been burnt as a weed control technique and to promote native grassland values.

Grasslands are often overlooked, yet they are home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, many of which are threatened or endangered.

Please note that this is an outdoor event and appropriate clothing should be worn.
